Kenbe Fèm Dedication

Not that long ago, the Family Center was only an idea. We needed land and we needed resources. We needed a building where our community in Haiti could be cared for and supported in a tangible way; where families could be strengthened. Our “Orphan Prevention” programs needed a home. The Mayor Goes Home

Comerson, the very first child admitted to the new Three Angels orphanage, is finally going home! This little boy was once a critically ill baby; severely malnourished and in need of immediate hospitalization. Comerson is now a very vocal and active toddler. He has such a magnetic and warm personality that he has been nicknamed The Mayor. He now gets to practice his charms on his mom, dad and three siblings.

And on August 4th, 2013 that dream came true. We boarded a plane and got to wrap our arms around our twins, Kelly and Kevenel. My babies, only seen in pictures and read about on paper, were right there all handsome in front of me and all I could do was sob. I know they thought I was absolutely the craziest white woman they had ever seen. These were the twins God laid on our hearts even before they were born. This was faith turned into sight.
