Comerson, the very first child admitted to the new Three Angels orphanage, is finally going home! This little boy was once a critically ill baby; severely malnourished and in need of immediate hospitalization. Comerson is now a very vocal and active toddler. He has such a magnetic and warm personality that he has been nicknamed The Mayor. He now gets to practice his charms on his mom, dad and three siblings.

At Three Angels, we are big believers in the power of education; it’s woven through all of our programs. Year after year, our school has some of the highest achievement scores in Haiti. However, all the knowledge in the world is foolishness if the heart of the Gospel is not learned.

2013 marked our 10th year of serving some of the most at-risk children and families in Haiti. The kids at our school often come hungry. While we do feed the children a hot meal every day, those first few hours before lunch can be difficult to manage. If you took a close look at the preschool pencils, you’d notice that the majority of them have little teeth marks and the erasers are missing.
