Teaching our Teachers

“Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.” - Socrates

Fanning that flame is what continued education is all about.

We love that our teachers are so passionate about education! We are more than happy to facilitate training that keeps their enthusiasm burning, so while school is out for the summer, we jumped on the opportunity to do just that.

Our entire teaching staff recently gathered in our newly-completed Media Center to learn more about education and strategies for mentoring and fine-tuning their classroom goals.

The Ministry of National Education provided instructors who not only covered some refreshers but also presented some new ideas to challenge these classroom leaders. Along with keeping abreast of updates to Ministry educational requirements, there was much information shared that our teaching staff will be able to apply to their classes—innovative ideas for organizing, strategies for follow-up on assignments and activities, and discussions on better ways to seek positive results.

We love that our teaching staff continues to strive for excellence, and we love that they are never content with the status quo. We can’t wait to see what all they’ll accomplish as they incorporate these new ideas into their classrooms this fall!

DID YOU KNOW: We have a team of North American education professionals who provide support and resource tools for our school staff. Not only that, but our community of Student Sponsors provides the funding necessary to educate 300 children each year, employ teachers and other school staff, provide hot lunch daily, and keep our teachers up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques to be the very best instructors possible for these students.
