August 2025 Prayer Requests
PRAISE for 20 years of Three Angels Christian Academy! Last month, we celebrated two decades of quality, life-changing education that has impacted the lives of over a thousand children, their families, and our community. It has offered literacy, job skills, improved health and nutrition, and sustaining relationships to impoverished, high-risk children and families, bringing positive change and hope for the future. And despite the incredibly harsh and difficult circumstances these children face, our school is thriving more and more every year! With grades preschool through nine and an attendance rate that outshines that in North America, we know that investing in these students matters. Please pray for not only continuation of this mission but also for it to expand to further support a hopeful Haiti through these young generations growing to adulthood.
PRAISE that our immediate area has been quiet; please pray for that to continue.
Pray for the protection of our student body as summer wraps up this month and that these children (as well as their families & our staff) would find moments of joy and delight in their days, that they would find opportunities for play and exploration, to create and imagine; they need this encouragement and balance against the weariness of national unrest.
Pray for our students and staff as they gear up for the new school year starting next month.
Here’s your opportunity to become an answer to prayer: We will have a new class of 30 preschoolers arriving when school starts again next month, and every student needs a Sponsor! Not only that, but we have five scholarship students continuing to our partnering high school that remain without sponsors, as well as dozens of children across the grades in between. Student Sponsorship is VERY important, as our wonderful Sponsors make this education opportunity possible for these children— please consider joining us!
Please pray for health, safety, and encouragement for our staff, our community, and the children in our care during these particularly difficult and dangerous times; unpredictable violent activity is a persistent threat, and the emotional trauma as well as the very real physical dangers are impactful.
Pray for safety, courage, and support for the Haitian police force as they battle the violent gangs.
Pray for increased funding across the board: inflation is impacting our ability to make our dollars s-t-r-e-t-c-h, and we need your help!
Pray for the strength and medical recovery of Betsaïda and Leilah of Angel House Orphanage as they continue in their journey to wellness, and pray that obstacles to Betsaïda’s treatment will be removed. Betsaïda especially continues to struggle with her medical issues and would very much appreciate your prayers!
Please pray for smooth and timely processing of upcoming adoptions through Haitian social services—with the severe slowdown of government processes due to both unrest and pandemic, this needs LOTS of prayer!
Pray also that as adoptions slowly progress that safe journeys home for these precious children would be provided.
Pray for travel to open up again to Haiti. Our private shipper, along with other flights, are currently halted by the US government for safety reasons. We need our shipper to be free to continue operations so that we may resume receiving supplies, as it has become increasing difficult and costly to source what we need in Haiti.
Availability of food, water, fuel for transportation, and other supplies— this is a critical concern, as supplies are becoming very scarce due to the shutdown on all flights.
The resources for hospitals to remain open, and special prayers for two of our hospital partners that were destroyed by gang attack, that their faith and hope would remain strong as they seek to rebuild.

Our Medical and Dental Programs need increased funding to expand services to our children and local community.
Pray for completion of our foundation status in Haiti, which will benefit us greatly both operationally and legally in Haiti. This has been a painfully looooong process!
